At SHE Works, women undergo intensive soft skills training, utilizing Dr. Parese’s renowned “Workin It Out Curriculum.“
This 25-hour program focuses on essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management, tailored to address the unique challenges faced by survivors. Our goal is to help women adapt to professional environments and thrive in their careers.

Welcome to ROARS, presented by Divas Who Win Freedom Center, a pioneering “launchpad” initiative dedicated to empowering mothers with opioid use disorder (OUD) who have bravely faced sexual violence and exploitation.
Our comprehensive program offers tailored support to guide these resilient individuals towards healing and independence.
In Phase 1, our Peer Launchpad program provides a range of peer support services, including in-person and virtual peer coaching, warm hand-offs to trauma therapy, and counseling services.
These services are meticulously designed to offer unwavering support as mothers navigate their healing journey.

3. SHE SHINES Program
Sheltering Her Into New Employment Success
Welcome to SHE SHINES, a specialized program under SHE WORKS, dedicated to empowering homeless individuals, including those who were recently incarcerated, to achieve new employment success, stability, and rehabilitation. While our agency does not currently provide emergency shelter, we are committed to linking participants to existing housing and rehabilitation supports through our dedicated housing specialist.

SHE S.H.I.N.E.S:

1. Employment Readiness Training: Participants engage in intensive employment readiness training, covering essential job skills such as resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace communication.
2. Job Placement Assistance: Our program offers personalized job placement assistance, connecting participants with employment opportunities that match their skills, interests, and career goals.
3. Supportive Services: We provide ongoing case management and support services to help participants navigate barriers to employment, address housing instability, and access additional resources as needed.
4. Rehabilitation and Treatment Linkage: SHE SHINES collaborates with rehabilitation and treatment facilities to link participants to appropriate services for substance use disorder and mental health support.
5. Affordable Housing Solutions: We assist participants in accessing affordable housing solutions, including transitional housing, supportive housing, and rental assistance programs, to ensure they have a stable living environment as they work towards employment and stability.
